Jamie is an incredibly talented photographer. We had a maternity session with her and absolutely loved it. Jamie was very professional, fun and very natural behind the camera. Jamie herself met my groom and I at the venue a few days before the ceremony, at the exact time that we would be getting married. She wanted to walk the grounds and get a feel for lighting. I loved that she took the time to do this! We actually based the set up of our ceremony around this meeting with Jamie - she advised us on how to maximize the beauty of the photos by positioning ourselves in a certain direction. On the actual day, Jamie was right on time. She managed before photos without getting in the way. She was ever present but absolutely unobtrusive. She did not paparazzi us during the ceremony, either! My guests did not have to adjust their seating in order to see around the photographer. I wanted the ceremony to be intimate, and she managed to capture this without interfering with the intimacy! When Jamie took us away to do our bride and groom shots, it was obvious that she had done her research on what the venue had to offer in terms of photo opportunities. She found charming spots for us to be playful and sweet together, which I think contributed to how well the photos turned out. I could not be happier with our bride and groom shots. Finally, the reception. Jamie did a great job capturing everyone who was there. She encouraged people to pose for shots and also captured many priceless candid shots. The pictures of our dance floor shenanigans could not be more fun! And finally, just before she left, Jamie took a shot of the darkened venue, lit up only by the lights of the dance floor and the lights of Albuquerque in the background. Awesome! -Kari Bernard
